IS Qwik Wick™ really different?
Yes. QWIK WICK™ has a unique 2 layer system, unlike most all other brands which use single layer textiles. Qwik Wick has 2 layers: Polyolefin(Polypropylene) on the inside and Polyester on the outside.

Aren’t most anti microbial clothing the same?
No. Most use a chemical finish which is  sprayed on the fabric. We use a recognized leader in this technology called A.M.Y. ™(Anti Microbiol Yarn) which is an ionized, silver yarn that is directly knitted into the textile. Check out UNIFI.com for more information on A.M.Y..

Will the QWICK WICK™ moisture managment or anti-microbial features wash out?
No. Both are physical properties of the fabric and impossible to wash out. Most other brands use chemicals for wicking and anti microbial traits which are good for a limited number of washes. Please, read the care instructions on some performance apparel. Notice, “Do not bleach” and / or “Do not use fabric softener”. Bleach breaks down the chemicals sprayed on the fabric and fabric softener clumps to it preventing them to work properly. Feel free to bleach Qwik Wick as necessary and don't worry about the effects of fabric softerners.

What is the best way to care for my QWIK WICK?

Wash in cold water and hang dry for best results. The spin cycle will leave your Qwik Wick mostly dry and will finish drying completely on it's own in a relativly short time. You can also wash it out in a sink, shake it out and hang it up over night and likely will be mainly dry my morning. DO NOT iron or expose this fabric to temperatures above 270 degress Fahrenheit.
