Qwik Wick™ is a light weight fabric that thrives in hot conditions and does very well in cooler conditions also.  In hot weather Qwik Wick pulls of excess body warmth with the moisture.  Because Quik Wick is pulling moisture off the body so qwikly, it actually works to cool you down much like the way alcohol feels cool on your skin. Alcohol evaporates so fast off your skin, it pulls heat away from your body as it rapidly evaporates which is why it feels cool on your skin. Qwik Wick works the same way.

Qwik Wicks™ performance properties are not only superior but are also permanent and are not capable of washing out. It has moisture management properties created with physical properties of capillary action via a multi-layer fabric transport system.  Competitors use an oily chemical finishes it is called, which has very limited wicking traits and washes out.  Notice the care labels of the competition saying “Do not bleach” or “Do not use fabric softener.” This is because bleach breaks the finish and fabric softener inhibits their so called wicking process.  Qwik Wick™ may be bleached as necessary and fabric softener will not affect its performance either.

For best results, use a cold water wash with a washing machine and line dry.  Qwik Wick™ will be almost dry if not completely out of the final spin cycle from the washing machine so a dryer will not be necessary. Do not iron your Qwik Wick for it will melt. Excessive heat over 275 degrees fahrenheit will also make it melt. Dryer may lead to slight shrinkage. Generally speaking dryers can be hard on all clothing which is why valued articles should be left to line dry for maximum life span.

Qwik Wick™ also contains permanent and effective anti-microbial properties.  It is actually knitted with an ionized silver anti-microbial yarn (A.M.Y. from UNIFI.com) directly into the fabric itself which obviously makes this a permanent remedy impossible to wash out.  It helps to destroy unwanted microbes such as odor causing bacteria, alga, fungus, mold and other unwanted organisms.
